I was researcher, developer and coordinator of the FP7 EU Project RACE. The goal of this FP7 EU research project was to develop an intelligent, experience-based mobile robot platform. The finalized system was running with ROS and Gazebo on a PR2 robot. Implementation was mainly done in C++.

The goal of this project was to develop a multi-robot collaboration system. The ideal use case is that you state a problem that only a group of robots can solve together. Which robot (capability) is required is to be determined automatically. As a result I devolped the Robot System Abstraction Layer (RSAL) which is based on the PlayerStage robot platform and uses the BDI multi-agent system Jadex. The resulting system was mainly implemented in Java.
For an online shop selling shelves an configurable fotorealistic 3D representation should be developed. The resulting system was based on the CSG renderer POV-Ray, an XML description of the shelf configuration and a Perl script generating the render code.
